Favorite Music, Artists, Genres: Bowling for Soup, "Rent" soundtrack, Disney songs & Radio Disney artists, Christian rock & underground bands like Newsboys, OC Supertones, Everyday Sunday -- too many to name! Radio Disney., Did I mention Bowling For Soup? Favorite Books, Writers, Genres: Anything by Stephen King. I love trying new authors, so I take part in 3 online reading groups via email. "Jane Eyre" is my all-time fave. The "Anne of Green Gables", "Emily of New Moon" and "Little House on the Prairie" series. Just got exposed to and loved the James Patterson "Maximum Ride" & such books in that series. Mark Twain, L.M. Montgomery, Laura Ingalls Wilder, Rose Wilder Lane, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Henry David Thoreau, Louisa May Alcott, Walter Mosley. Favorite Movies, Actors, Genres: Napoleon Dynamite, Just Like Heaven, The Parent Trap (both old & new versions), The New Guy, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, A Christmas Story. I like most movies and that is one of our family's favorite ways to have fun together. We have a corny sense of humor! Favorite TV Shows, Actors: "House" (Hugh Laurie is friggin brilliant.) Monk (I love Tony Shalhoub's acting.) Hell's Kitchen, Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, Iron Chef, Amazing Race, Biggest Loser, Ace of Cakes, Good Eats, Deadliest Catch, Mythbusters, Orange County Choppers, Top Chef, American Idol, old British show "Are You Being Served" (John Inman was fabulous!). Favorite Places: As Lonestar would say, "My Front Porch Lookin' In". I love home more than anyplace else., Philadelphia, my hometown. Walt Disney World -- I could move in there! Cocoa Beach. I enjoy visiting historical places and state parks. Interests and Activities: Writing, Scrapbooking, Photography, Latch hook rugs, Genealogy, Sweepstaking. Reading -- Always learning new things! Wish List: A dock for the iPod so I can use it more often., A cd player that plays more than 2 songs before squealing in complaint and shutting itself off . . . . , A degree in nursing so I can work with the little babies and mommies on the maternity floor!
